Who we are:
Gracias Jesus is a small religious organization based in El Dorado Hills California, spearheaded by Eddie Mitchell, with a mission of compassion, inspired by God's word. Your donations mean so much to us and we hope to grow Gracias Jesus from not just helping those in Nicaragua, but finding worthwhile causes close to home and helping our neighbors. We have put together a great board and with their help and wisdom, hope to expand and grow Gracias Jesus. The Lord is always giving Eddie a path to follow and we all hope to spread His love and His word. We have very recently applied and obtained IRS non profit 501(c)(3) charity approval and designation. This will allow us to better serve the needy whilst allowing you, our generous donor, to receive tax credit for your kind and much appreciated donations. We are all volunteers at Gracias Jesus and give of our time and services. We receive no financial compensation for the work we do, but simply enjoy spreading the love of our Lord in which ever way we can. This results in us maximizing the power of your donation and putting it to good use. We consider ourselves one big happy family, helping wherever and whenever possible. We all get together as regularly as time permits and hold mini fundraisers and thank you events.
Without you we cannot continue to help. To help those in need to be able to help themselves.
We have based Gracias Jesus ministry on James 2:14-18:
Faith and Deeds: What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
